How to choose the paper for the exam?

You need to bring a scientific paper for the exam. You should understand the contents of the paper in order to be able to discuss it. The paper must be related to some topics of the course.

It is an advantage if the paper is related to your field of interest (e.g., bachelor thesis, master thesis, project). You can use Google Scholar to find relevant papers according to keywords.

If you do not work in the area of digital image processing or computer vision, select some topic of the course which was interesting for you. You can find many new algorithms, which have not been discussed in the course, but they deal with the discussed problems. You can also find advanced methods dealing with the lab tasks. The example topics are: noise reduction, image restoration, inpainting, composition of images, segmentation, tone mapping, warping, morphing etc. You can use Google Scholar to find relevant papers according to keywords.

If you have not decided yet which topic is interesting you, try to choose some highly cited paper that was published in one of the preferred journals.
