You need to bring a scientific paper for the exam. You should understand the contents of the paper in order to be able to discuss about it.

If you have not decided yet which topic is interesting you, try to choose some highly cited paper which was published in one of the preferred journals.

• Google Scholar publishes lists of the most cited papers for the preferred journals: IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, International Journal of Computer Vision etc.
• Each IEEE journal publishes a list of the most popular papers of the month: IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging etc. Be careful that these lists often contain also papers older than 5 years. It is better to choose a paper which has at least several citations.
