Presentations

WARNING: This information might be out of date. Before using the information here, ask your supervisor first.

Topics

You are expected to present your network task (D-task).

The idea is to share your experience from implementation with the others. So you should impact the less standard solution(s) you have used. Rather than just complaining how complicated it was…

Outline

The presentation should contain the following slides:

  1. Title page (names, title)
  2. Brief problem introduction (not a copy from webpage)
  3. Your solution outline
  4. Two slides: The problems you encountered/Important things learned/Interesting behaviour (regarding your project).
  5. Solutions, Conclusion

The timing should be 4 minutes for the whole presentation.

Format

  • The presentation should be in PDF/ODP format. Remember, that there is a Linux machine at the lab, so use a portable format. If you use the PPT(X) format, please convert it to PDF. Otherwise you might end up presenting in front of white board.
  • You can send me your presentation in advance and I will report you any omissions and problems with display. (If you do not send me your presentation in advance (min. 12 hrs) then you are responsible to make it work at the lab).

Notes

  • In case of presenting the networking project (task D) you can present in the team that you have formed for the implementation.
  • In case you do not come to the class personally, you do not get the 1pt for the presentation (for your team colleague making the presentation).
