====== Software ====== In the course B(E)0B17MTB we will work exclusively in the MATLAB without any extension (Simulink, toolboxes, ...). ==== Licence ==== CTU in Prague is the owner of the Campus-Wide License - a university-wide license for MATLAB, Simulink, and their extensions. Staff and students can use these products for teaching, research, and study. The license allows users to install products on both university-owned computers and private computers of university students and staff, in unlimited quantities. ==== Download ==== - Go to the [[https://www.mathworks.com/academia/tah-portal/ceske-vysoke-uceni-technicke-v-praze-31445845.html | MATLAB Portal]] provided by the university. - Select ‘Sign in to get started’ in the Get MATLAB and Simulink section. - Create an account with MathWorks using an email address from the cvut.cz subdomain. If you already have such an account, log in to it. - Your MathWorks account will be automatically linked to the license and you will be redirected to the installer download page. - Click the Download button with the current version. (Users can download older versions here.) - Choose one of the supported operating systems and download the installer. ==== Installation ==== - The installer you downloaded is located in the default download folder unless you have specified otherwise. - Run the installer - In the installer, select 'Log in with a MathWorks Account' and follow the on-screen instructions. - When prompted, select the license you want to use. - Select the products you want to download and install (Only MATLAB is necessary). - After downloading and installing the products, check the Activate MATLAB option, and click Next. - When requesting a username, make sure the display name is correct. Then continue with the activation.
