His diploma theses [[https://dspace.cvut.cz/bitstream/handle/10467/76764/F3-DP-2018-Koci-Karel-diploma.pdf|Graphical CPU Simulator with Cache Visualization]] has provided new fuel to Computer Architectures course teaching. The project [[https://github.com/cvut/QtMips/|QtMips]] is used on multiple faculties to teach basic computer architectures courses.

He is technical head of software (GNU/Linux user-space, kernel and automatic updates) development to support [[https://www.turris.cz/|Turris]] open source and hardware router.
