==== Evaluation ====

  - Students can get a maximum of 100 points. 
  - Up to 50 points can be obtained during the semester, another max. 50 points at the written exam. 
  - A minimum of 25 points is required to pass the exam:
    * if your score is less than 25 points, you are required to retake the exam,
    * {{:courses:bin:exam-29-5-2017.pdf |an example of past exam}}.
  - Assessment requirements:
    * you have to submit all homework assignments
      * all solutions have to obtain at least 30% score (not counting the late submission penalty),
      * late submissions are penalized,
    * attendance at tutorials is compulsory, however you are allowed to miss three of them without an excuse,
    * consultation are allowed only for attending students and students with timely excuse,
    * the overall score of your homework assignments needs to be at least 25 points **including** the late submission penalty.
  - Final grade is determined according to the following table:
